August 24, 1912 the Pocatello Tribune reported George Jernberg was lost in the desert for two days. However, it was really Charles Jernberg who got lost, not George. Charles ended up at the Reno Ranch. He later told the family he crawled into the ditch at the Reno Ranch but he knew he could not just drink a bunch of water all at once even though he was severely dehydrated. So, he had to lay in the water for a while and drink slowly.
